Purchase Card Fundraiser

Thank you to all who are committed to and support our purchase card sales. The profit from these sales is significant.

For those not familiar with the program, St. Michael’s sells purchase cards that we purchase at a discount and sell for face value. Parishioners then use the cards to pay for items they would purchase anyway. There is no net cost to the parishioner, as it is typically for items they would be purchasing anyway, but the cumulative impact to the parish is huge.

If every parishioner that buys groceries, fuel, does home renovations or stops at Tim Horton’s purchased cards before shopping, the impact could be even more significant!

Purchase cards are available from the following:

Co-op - 10% Commission

This card can be used to purchase groceries, gasoline, livestock feed, hardware, lumber at ANY Co-op, including payments on account. For businesses or farms with fuel cardlock accounts, these cards can be used to make payments on account. For larger purchases of cards (over $2000), contact the office a day or two in advance so we make sure we have larger denomination cards in stock.

Safeway / Sobeys - 6% Commission

This card can be used to purchase groceries at Safeway or Sobeys.

President’s Choice - 4% Commission

This card can be used to purchase groceries and gasoline at any No Frills, Loblaws, Wholesale Club or Superstore.

Tim Horton’s - 5% Commission

This card can be used at any Tim Horton’s across Canada.

Purchase cards are for sale after all Masses on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, or anytime from the church office. Cards can be purchased using cash, debit or credit card.
